Do you know Meetup?

Meetup is an event that people who have a common purpose get together.

You can find new friends who have a common hobby and enjoy some activities.

Basically, it's FREE to join the events :)

I've joined some Meetup events.

Chess, system engineering and English conversation one!

I like Shogi, Japanese chess, so I started to learn how to play chess when I came to Canada.

Because nobody knows how to play shogi.

I always play chess online.

Sometimes I want to play it in person. That's more exciting, right? XD

In that case, I join the meetup.

All participants are stronger than me.

They are very kind to teach me how to play it well.

That's why I enjoy to join it even though I've never won... hahaha

I learn about developing and some tools in SE meetup.

I talk and play games in English conversation meetup.

There are a lot of meetup events in Japan as well.

Why don't you find something new or interesting :)
